What is your child's passion -- photography, computers, engineering, cooking, or farm school? These and many other subjects are explored during Bright Lights' Summer Learning Adventures each summer. Bright Lights has been a tradition in Lincoln, Nebraska for over 20 years. Through hands-on, half-day classes and full-day camps (including career exploration camps for middle-school students), unique learning experiences are created for six sessions each summer. These classes provide academic, hobby and career experiences for students from kindergarten through ninth grade. Over 100 talented teachers, 200 volunteer classroom assistants and 1,800 students are involved each year. A schedule of some 120 classes can be reviewed online in mid-March. The registration form and need-based scholarship application are available April 1 at www.brightlights.org. Reach Bright Lights by phone at (402) 420-1115 or 1-866-547-1076 (toll free).
Classes fill quickly! Parents can register and pay online.
