Bright Lights Announces New Education Coordinator
(Tuesday, July 31, 2012)
Pam Magdanz has joined the Bright Lights administrative team as the Education Coordinator. She comes to this position after 34 years of experience with Lincoln Public Schools as a speech/language pathologist, classroom teacher, grant facilitator and elementary building coordinator. Her background and skills in child development, curriculum, staff development and leadership within a large organization will support her in her new role with Bright Lights.
Currently operating in its 26th year, Bright Lights is a non-profit summer adventure program which offers unique, motivating, hands-on learning opportunities for students K-9th grade. As Education Coordinator, Pam Magdanz will be developing exciting new classes and recruiting teachers while supporting the existing strong line-up of summer learning experiences.
Pam Magdanz succeeds co-founder Barb Hoppe who co-led the program during the first 25 years and continues to work in a part-time consulting role with Bright Lights while broadening her work in other areas.
