Camp Assistant recruitment for Summer 2024 is in full swing! Being a Camp Assistant helps students learn how to engage both adults and children in a safe and fun camp environment.

Here is what a few of last year’s Camp Assistants said about their experience…

  • “I really enjoyed being around the kids and getting to do new things and just being able to bond with them!”
  • “I had such a blast. It was such a good learning experience, and I met so many amazing people.”
  • ”I loved engaging with the students and seeing them take on the challenge to try something new. I think I got better with working with students, and it was a really fun experience! “
  • “Every teacher was helpful and encouraging, and every student was fun and willing to listen. I have loved my time with Bright Lights.”
  • “Being a Camp Assistant is a great way to positively impact the lives of many young and talented students! I would highly recommend any 8th – 12th grader to be a Camp Assistant.”
  • “I really enjoyed being a Bright Lights Assistant because it gave me a chance to do something over the summer. I loved being a role model for the students in my class, and I felt like I was able to help a lot of them in different ways.”

Bright Lights welcomes former Bright Lights campers and anyone grade 8 and up who wants to connect, help, and be part of a creative and fun environment. Apply now to be matched with the camp of your choice.
