Thanks to generous donations from community organizations and individuals, we will be offering need-based scholarships to students again this year. Bright Lights scholarship program allows parents to send their students to one of our camps with the knowledge that their children are safe while giving them opportunities for educational and social growth.
So how does the program work?
Starting Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 8:00 AM, go to BrightLights.org and click on the “Register” button. You will start by selecting the camp/camps your student(s) would like to take. During the registration process, you will be asked if you want to apply for a scholarship. All applicants will pay $10 during registration to hold their space in the camp (plus any fees associated with the camp) while their scholarship application is reviewed.
Every student is eligible for one scholarship up to a maximum of $135 that can be used toward either one half-day or one full-day Summer 2024 camp. Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis for as long as funds are available.
Scholarship requests can be made until Wednesday, May 1st. Applicants will be notified of their scholarship amount by May 15th. Further details about our scholarship program can be found on our website.

The schedule of camps will be posted in February, so be sure to check back and make a list with your kids of which camps they are interested in! (Waitlisted camps will not be eligible for a scholarship, so please have a second choice selected if needed.)
