Grades Completed: 1, 2
Camp #114: June 1-5, AM Camp (9 AM-12 PM)
Location: Roper Elementary School
Come join the investigation team as we explore the fascinating world of bugs! Campers will discover what makes an insect an insect, how arachnids differ and learn about traits, habitats, and life cycles. Through hands-on activities, campers will create their own bug journals to build knowledge about insects, spiders and other categories of bugs. We’ll go on bug hunts, play games to practice sorting and identifying body parts and create our own insect or spider models. Along the way, campers will learn the important roles bugs play in our ecosystem using books, videos and possibly a special guest as resources.
