Stories come to life through science, technology, engineering, art and math challenges, as favorite picture books spark big ideas! Some possible projects include creating a Rube Goldberg chain reaction machine after reading If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, or building a house that can withstand the “Big Bad Wolf” after reading The Three Little Pigs. From building and experimenting to testing and tinkering, we will explore creativity, teamwork and problem-solving, all while discovering that stories and STEAM make the perfect pair.
