We are excited to announce the return of Star Search — a scavenger hunt event and Bright Lights fundraiser that is fun for the whole family!
Grab your friends, family and/or neighbors and let’s hunt Lincoln for the city’s biggest stars!
Date: Saturday, April 15, 2023
Time: 9:30 AM check-in, with the game going from 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon
Place: Start and end at Firespring
Register your team online and then meet up at Firespring on Saturday, April 15 at 9:30 AM to check in and receive game instructions. Bring a smartphone as the app used for the game will need to be downloaded on ONE smartphone per team. A team is made up of all people who can safely fit inside ONE vehicle. At 10:00 AM, we will count down and teams will set off all over Lincoln completing missions to earn points. At 12 noon the game will end and all teams will return to Firespring for prizes and lunch.
Missions during the game will take teams to various local businesses, parks and locations around Lincoln. While there, teams will be asked to snap a photo or video within the game app to earn points. With over 50 missions to choose from during the hunt, your team will find plenty of opportunities to have fun, be silly and interact with each other all while earning points and supporting Bright Lights.
Your registration fee is a direct donation to Bright Lights with 100% going back to support Bright Lights and its programming.
