Give to Lincoln 2023

Give to Lincoln Day is an annual event organized by the Lincoln Community Foundation (LCF). It is a dedicated time for people to donate to non-profits in the community and have their donations increased thanks to a matching fund.

And while Give to Lincoln Day is actually on May 24th, donations can be made to Bright Lights from now until then!

Every donation made through this event makes a bigger impact because nonprofits also get a proportional share of a $500,000 match fund made possible by LCF and generous sponsors. This means all donations made to Bright Lights during this time will have an even greater effect on our future students and the camps we provide. Only half of Bright Lights annual income comes from student registrations; the remaining comes from generous donations from individuals, organizations and foundations. Teacher salaries, supplies and rental fees are all paid for by donors like YOU!

In just a few short weeks, we are so excited to kick off our 37th Summer by hosting nearly 100 hands-on learning camps! From Hogwarts to Little Picassos, and Robotics to the return of International Week with our friends from Japan, we can’t wait to get students excited about learning once again this summer.

Plus on May 24, you can stop by the Bright Lights booth at Tower Square < https://goo.gl/maps/ocj3HgZXT5gKW3cr7 > in downtown Lincoln to play games and earn prizes! Many other great nonprofits will be out on the Square that day, too, so it’s sure to be a lot of fun.

We are so grateful that Give to Lincoln Day is happening right NOW, and your gift can have a tangible impact on the future of Bright Lights.

Thank you for your support!
