Bright Lights is known for offering a diverse range of topics and experiences through more than 100 summer camps. But we wouldn’t be able to provide such a wide variety without our great community partnerships. One of our new partners for this summer is Music Studio LNK.
If you’re not familiar with them, Music Studio LNK’s mission is to provide experiential learning that nurtures joy, creativity, and curiosity through the heartbeat of music. Sounds like a great fit for Bright Lights!
At these camps, the studio’s instructors use playful musical games and instruments to inspire active exploration, movement, rhythm and a love for different musical styles. According to studio owner and instructor Linda Witfoth, “Our hands-on approach fosters a lifelong love of music, all within an environment of discovery. With immersive music-making, students learn key musical concepts such as tempo, pitch, and rhythm, as well as collaboration and cooperation.”
Also leading camps this summer is Ben Witfoth, whose natural talent for working with children and passion for music shine through in every lesson. With his warm, engaging style and drumming, guitar and bass expertise, Ben brings energy and enthusiasm to each camp, inspiring creativity in young learners. He helps budding Bright Lights musicians learn rhythm and ukulele by making music techniques easy and fun.
Together, this musical duo is excited to share their love of music at Bright Lights through the following camps:
- June 2-6: #224 U Kan Ukulele, grades 4-5
- June 9-13: #404 Rhythm PlayShop, grades 3-4
- June 23-27: #716 U Kan Ukulele, grades 4-5
- July 7-11: #912 Rhythm PlayShop, grades 3-4
We can’t wait to hear the music-making that will take place this summer! To see our entire camp schedule, visit the camp list on our website and search by week or grade to find the perfect fit for your student’s summer fun.
