As a service to our families, Bright Lights also offers Before Care and Lunch Care.

During this time, students participate in supervised and organized activities until their camp begins. Bright Lights honors the children who have fathers or mothers currently deployed outside the U.S. Each dependent child will receive a half-price discount on one Bright Lights camp. For more information, please contact Bright Lights at 402-420-1115 ext. 46 prior to registering online.
Our camps are popular but registering as soon as you can after registration opens typically helps students get into the camp(s) of their choice.
Registrations are only taken online and registration closes one week before the start date of the camp. No on-site registrations will be accepted.
Bright Lights camps are offered for students who have completed kindergarten through 8th grade. Enroll by the student’s current grade as of March 2025.
Once registration opens, visit BrightLights.org and click on the registration button. Just like any other online shopping, select all the camps you want for all the students you are registering for and put them into your cart.
Once you have all of the camps you want in your cart you will proceed through the registration process, assigning each camp to a particular student. If you have not previously signed up for a Bright Lights camp, you will create an account at this time with Active Network as part of the registration process. Please remember your login information so you can access your account in the future (including registering again next year!).
If a camp is full at the time of registering, you can choose to be placed on a waitlist for a specific camp. If there is an opening, you will be contacted by the Bright Lights office.
Unless applying for a scholarship, full payment of all program and camp fees is required during online registration using a credit card or electronic check.
Bright Lights t-shirts can also be purchased during registration and will be distributed during camps.
For further assistance with camp registrations, please contact the Bright Lights registration specialist at 402-420-1115 ext. 46 or email registrations@brightlights.org.
NOTE: Custodial parents with court-ordered custody issues that may affect your student during Bright Lights classes should contact Renee Ford at the Bright Lights office, 402-420-1115 ext 41, prior to the program week.
Through the generous donations of committed community organizations and individuals, Bright Lights is able to offer need-based scholarships to students again this year.
