Testimonials

“I was so impressed with the program! The teachers and content were excellent, and they had so much FUN while learning. My children attended thanks to the scholarship program (the only way we could have attended) and, it being our first year, I was a bit uneasy that my kids would be singled out because of this. But there was no distinction between them and anyone else, and they learned so much in a healthy environment. It was one of the best uses of their time this summer.”

“We were impressed by the quality of instruction and activities provided. Our child was doing high school/college-level work and allowed to explore and discover."
-- Parent
"This is our family's second year attending Bright Lights and I continue to be impressed. Thank you for making learning so much fun and a camp my kids are excited to attend."
-- Parent
"We came from out of state for my daughter to attend two camps this week. I had attended as a kid and now that she’s old enough to participate it looked like a great way for her to learn, grow and have fun!"
-- Parent and Former Bright Lights Student
"My kids LOVE Bright Lights! It gives them something fun and challenging to do during the summer. We will do camps until the girls age out, and then they will probably volunteer to help!"
-- Parent
"Thank you all for simply being you, providing a space for kids to be kids, try something new, be encouraged, grow their confidence and take lifelong things with them when they leave the building. We will most certainly be back."

Registration

Registration for Summer 2025 camps opens March 1, 2025 at Brightlights.org.

Our camps are popular but registering as soon as you can after registration opens typically helps students get into the camp(s) of their choice.

Registrations are only taken online and registration closes one week before the start date of the camp. No on-site registrations will be accepted.

Who Can Register for Camps?

Bright Lights camps are offered for students who have completed kindergarten through 8th grade. Enroll by the student’s current grade as of March 2025.

To Register

Once registration opens, visit BrightLights.org and click on the registration button. Just like any other online shopping, select all the camps you want for all the students you are registering for and put them into your cart.

Once you have all of the camps you want in your cart you will proceed through the registration process, assigning each camp to a particular student. If you have not previously signed up for a Bright Lights camp, you will create an account at this time with Active Network as part of the registration process. Please remember your login information so you can access your account in the future (including registering again next year!).

If a camp is full at the time of registering, you can choose to be placed on a waitlist for a specific camp. If there is an opening, you will be contacted by the Bright Lights office.

Unless applying for a scholarship, full payment of all program and camp fees is required during online registration using a credit card or electronic check.

Bright Lights t-shirts can also be purchased during registration and will be distributed during camps.

For further assistance with camp registrations, please contact the Bright Lights registration specialist at 402-420-1115 ext. 46 or email registrations@brightlights.org.

NOTE: Custodial parents with court-ordered custody issues that may affect your student during Bright Lights classes should contact Renee Ford at the Bright Lights office, 402-420-1115 ext 41, prior to the program week.
